Costumes for a Cause 2012 planning is underway. This years exciting event will be
held in September 2012 in Pittsburgh, PA. Sponsorship opportunities are filling up
fast, but still available for this high-profile 3rd annual non-profit charity event
benefiting the Pittsburgh chapter of the American Heart Association's "Go Red for

About last year's event:
Chelsea's of New York partnered with Diana Rua Media to present "Costumes for a
Cause 2011" at WHIM Station Square - Pittsburgh, PA on Friday, September 30,
2011.
It was a exciting evening of fashion and glamour to help raise money for the
American Heart Association. A night of food, fun, and local celebrities rocked the
"Hollywood Rocks" themed "Costumes for a Cause" charity event this year. An
exciting feature of the show was celebrity host, model/actress Josie Stevens of the
hit E! channel show, "Married to Rock". Josie, who is married to rock guitarist Steve
Stevens of Billy Idol fame, brought a little bit of Hollywood to Pittsburgh to help raise
funds for the American Heart Association.
Over thirty-five models graced the runway, showing the latest in couture costumes
from Glamour House, J. Valentine, Starline, and Roma Costume. Guest Emcee was
Frank Murgia - Pittsburgh's 50 Finest alumni. Glam hair and makeup was provided
generously by Azemi Salons. In addition to a high energy costumes fashion show,
the event included a pre-show cocktail party, a silent auction and raffle prize
giveaways. Pre-show cocktail party with hors d'oeuvres and desserts started at
8:00pm. Fashion show started promptly at 10:00pm.
Net proceeds went directly to the Pittsburgh chapter of the American Heart
Association's "Go Red for Women" campaign. This event was approved by the
American Heart Association.
